<description>Management Information Systems Support and Practices in Arbab Group
Howlader, Pronab
The purpose of my internship was to provide hardware and software maintenance support. This report outlines the roles, responsibilities, and key learnings I acquired during my internship at Arbab Group, under the title “Management Information Systems Support and Practices in Arbab Group”. Throughout my internship, I was entrusted with various technical responsibilities, including ERP Management, device setup, installation of different versions of Microsoft Office, operating systems, and application software, as well as troubleshooting, networking, and basic internet support. My primary focus was on hardware maintenance. In this report, I have highlighted how I handled these tasks, assessed my effectiveness during the internship, and evaluated the overall success of the experience. Additionally, I addressed the real-world challenges I encountered and how I approached solving them. This report captures the comprehensive knowledge and practical insights I gained throughout my internship period.

<title>Mangoleaf: Disease Detection Using Machine Learning</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/16797</link>
<description>Mangoleaf: Disease Detection Using Machine Learning
Mehedi, S. M.
Mango (Mangifera indica) is the most commonly cultivated fruit crop in Bangladesh and a supporting pillar of agriculture in the nation as an income source. Mango yield is typically affected by a chain of leaf diseases such as anthracnose, bacterial canker, cutting weevil, die back, gall midge, powdery mildew, scooty mould disease resulting in poor yields and quality. Manual identification following traditional techniques takes a long time, is not very accurate, and is not very helpful in surveying in large-scale. The study takes into account the use of machine learning algorithms, i.e., CNN model and a CNN model paired with pooling layers for the automatic classification and detection of mango leaf diseases from image data. A representative set of diseased and healthy mango leaves was collected and preprocessed for training and testing. All the algorithms were compared on the major metrics of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Maximum accuracy 95% was achieved with CNN model paired with pooling layers. The social, environmental, and ethical consequences of implementing such smart farm systems in rural Bangladesh are also included in this thesis. Through enabling the identification of diseases at an early stage and with accuracy, the system under consideration can prevent the use of pesticides that are harmful to the health of humans and enable sustainable production and enhance the livelihood of the local farmers. This research contributes to the application of AI in agriculture and establishes a foundation for further data-based management of plant diseases appropriate for Bangladesh's agricultural sector.

<title>Exploring Customer Satisfaction With Online Banking Services in Bangladesh</title>

<description>Exploring Customer Satisfaction With Online Banking Services in Bangladesh
Jahan, Khursida
In today's technological era, everyday tasks have become significantly easier compared to the past. Compared to earlier times, daily chores have gotten more simpler in the current technological era. Almost every part of life, including banking, has been mechanized by technology. Advancements in technology have transformed the banking sector into a fully digital experience, removing the necessity for customers to visit bank branches in person or wait in long queues for tasks such as opening accounts or transferring funds through electronic banking services. Customers and financial institutions now find processes quicker, more effective, and more convenient as a result of this change. Furthermore, banks are now under more pressure to offer superior services in order to draw in and keep more clients as a result of increased competition brought on by e-banking. The primary objective of this research was to examine how consumers' trust in online banking services influences and moderates their overall satisfaction levels. Evaluating general client happiness was another goal. One of the biggest problems facing any business is maintaining customer happiness. The study polled 500 conveniently chosen and randomly chosen people in order to address this. Using VS Code as the editor and Matplotlib for visualization, data analysis was carried out. According to the study's findings, client satisfaction with online banking services in Bangladesh is closely correlated with elements like security, online bill payment, financial transfers, website design, ease, and speed.

<description>Cyber Security Challenges Through Case Study And Data Perspective in Banking Sector
Asif, Ali
Management Information Systems (MIS) are crucial in today's digital banking environment, but they are also becoming more vulnerable to cybersecurity attacks. Using qualitative techniques such as expert interviews, case study analysis specifically, the 2016 Bangladesh Bank Heist and secondary data, this study investigates these issues in the context of bangladesh. The results show that vulnerabilities are caused by inadequate governance, training, and budget allocation in addition to obsolete systems and insufficient authentication. The study identifies a gap between policy and practice and suggests immplementing international standards like as ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST Framework to increase monitoring, multi-factor authentication, and red-teaming in order to enhance MIS security.
