<description>Analysis of Defects in Readymade Garments
Iqbal, Md. Nahid Nadim Ibn
The global economic condition changing rapidly, in an industry, they are more focus on profitmargin as well as customer demand for high quality product and improved productivity. This project was done to analysis defect percentage in final inspection and how to overcome this defect moreover how to improve product quality. The readymade garment industry is not only a leading industry in Bangladesh but also, theylead throughout the world that's why the improvement of garments quality is needed by recruiting defect from garments, it can play a vital role for every industry. The main purpose of this paper is to measure the defects throughout the year furthermore, which defect is repeating so many times. This thesis worked at Graphics Textiles Ltd where they faced treble with garments defect in final inspection several times, particularly inBoy’s t shirt, Girls t shirt and Kid’s T shirt. On the other hand, it is easy to overcome a problem if individual can find the actual problem.

<title>Evaluation of Sustainable Dyeing Practices for Cotton, and Viscose Fabrics Using Bi- Functional Reactive Dyes</title>

<description>Evaluation of Sustainable Dyeing Practices for Cotton, and Viscose Fabrics Using Bi- Functional Reactive Dyes
Hasan, Mahedi
The growing popularity of environmentally-friendly textile manufacturing has started the study of green dyeing methods. Here, emphasis is laid on the issue of the dyeing method on the use of bi-functional reactive dyes on cotton and viscose fabric in terms of water and energy use, and exposure to environment. Effluent, water and chemical usage and fabric performance may be improved through bi-functional reactive dyes, containing both reactive and bifunctional groups. The dyes being studied are cotton and viscose that has been massively applied in the textile industry. Such fabrics have been tested in terms of how they receive color, how these colors are retained by the fabrics, and their environmental friendliness with regard to these new dyes. The comparisons with the traditional dyeing practices are made in order to identify the extent of effluency, discharge into various toxic chemicals, and recyclability in the course of the dyeing procedure. It has been established that bi-functional reactive dyes have the ability of replacing other types of dyeing processes with a lower environmental load without compromising the overall quality of a product or without any side gains in its quality. The boundary of future explorations is a sustainable dyeing methodology technology and its application in the industry, to attain sustainable growth in the textile industry. Through this work, it is imperative to say that bi-functional reactive dyes are necessitated since they are potential technological change of reaction of eco-friendly dyeing that may meet the aspect of global dyeing without compromising its quality. However, further research is needed to make such methods more industrialized and more presentable.

<title>Study on the End-to-End Supply Chain Management in the Garments Industry: From Order Processing to Shipment</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/17527</link>
<description>Study on the End-to-End Supply Chain Management in the Garments Industry: From Order Processing to Shipment
Sharit, Imdadul Hasan
At the heart of the garments sector lies a remarkably competitive global marketplace where factors such as supply chain management affect profitability and customer satisfaction. This thesis concentrates on optimizing supply chain management in the garments sector by examining the order processing to shipment workflow. The aim is to identify gaps in productivity and offer solutions that accelerate processes, boost cost-effectiveness, and maintain quality standards. The investigation features a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the supply chain of the garments industry. It describes waiting for production, poor communication, inaccurate forecasting, supplier disconnection, and lack of cohesion as fundamental issues. This research underlines that the digitally-enabled ERP-based business processes as well as data and analytical systems facilitate better-managed operational performance due to improved decision- making. The crucial insights indicate that holistic approaches to planning, the application of just-in-time inventory systems, and inter-firm collaborations within the supply chain network greatly increase overall efficiency. As a final point, the study offers practical suggestions directed toward producers, international traders, and supply chain strategists concerning how to optimize each process and their interfaces to achieve superior responsiveness, minimal wastage, and dependable delivery fulfillment. The findings of this investigation are of importance to the existing literature on the optimization of supply chains in the textile and garments industry and presents a comprehensive model for enterprises focused on sustaining operational effectiveness and responsiveness to client’s needs.

<description>Advancing Sustainability: Development Of Water-Repellent Jute- Cotton fabric Bags Alternative to Synthetic Bags.
Amin, Md. Al-
Jute is relative cheap and commercially available natural fiber. Jute is eco- friendly and also biodegradable. Jute fiber recognized for its sustainability &amp; diversified end uses of its excellent mechanical properties. Jute fiber contains higher moisture that causes swelling as a result it degrades the mechanical properties. To overcome this difficulties water repellent jute fabric have been prepared by applying Zelan R3(Alkyl Urethane) a water repellent functional finishing on scoured, bleached &amp; dyed jute fabric by pad-dry-cure method. The outcomes assessed through the drop test &amp; spray test method (ISO 4920; 2012), aim to sustainable development of diversified jute products.
