<title>The dietary management of dengue patients with diabetes at Birdem General Hospital</title>

<description>The dietary management of dengue patients with diabetes at Birdem General Hospital
Fariha, Fahmida Faiza
This thesis examines adult health through a comprehensive evaluation that covers weight, physical activity, nutritional knowledge, healthy behaviors, and various risk factors. Current insights lack a&#13;
nuanced understanding of the complex interactions between leisure physical activity, body mass&#13;
index (BMI), bodily risks, unhealthy eating habits, and their combined effects on adult health. The&#13;
research aims to deepen the understanding of these interactions and their impact on well-being,&#13;
identifying effective intervention strategies. Important variables include sedentary behaviors&#13;
linked to technology use, stress levels, sleep habits, and their combined impact on lifestyle choices&#13;
and long-term health outcomes. The study's challenge is to identify effective interventions that&#13;
promote healthier lifestyles and mitigate associated health risks, with the primary goal being to&#13;
determine the most significant and lasting improvements in health outcomes. This research seeks&#13;
to fill the knowledge gap by examining the overall effects of leisure-time physical activity, BMI,&#13;
and dietary habits on adult health. The main objectives include constructing a comprehensive&#13;
health profile by combining information on weight status, physical activity levels, nutritional&#13;
knowledge, and related factors. These objectives involve examining the relationships between&#13;
BMI categories and adult health (obesity, overweight, underweight) for both genders and&#13;
investigating the links between leisure physical activity categories and health issues. The study&#13;
also analyzes the relationship between nutritional knowledge, dietary habits, and overall health, as&#13;
well as the complex interplay of risk factors and their impact on health outcomes. The research&#13;
employed a mixed-methods design, including surveys and physical assessments, with 200&#13;
participants (N = 200). Findings indicated that obese individuals were more likely to have health&#13;
problems compared to those in other BMI groups. Unhealthy eating habits and insufficient physical&#13;
activity were linked to obesity and health issues, highlighting the impact of lifestyle choices. Data&#13;
analysis revealed positive correlations between occupation, lifestyle, BMI levels, and health&#13;
problems, offering insights into the complex relationships among obesity, physical activity, age,&#13;
unhealthy eating habits, and lack of physical activity in understanding adult health outcomes.&#13;
Exploring the connections between nutritional knowledge, eating habits, and overall well-being&#13;
identified specific areas for education and behavior change. Understanding the complex interaction&#13;
of risk factors underscored the need for a comprehensive approach to interventions. This study&#13;
contributes valuable insights to the broader discussion on adult health, emphasizing the importance&#13;
of a thorough and personalized approach to assessing and promoting health.

<title>Formulation and Quality Assessment of Banana Date Fruit Chutney</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/14831</link>
<description>Formulation and Quality Assessment of Banana Date Fruit Chutney
Trisha, Fareya Ahmed
The date palm tree is the source of the date fruit. Globally, the plant is a popular houseplant. Imagine a date with a chewier texture and a caramel flavor profile. Dates, similar to mature bananas, increase in sweetness as they ripen due to their high sugar content. Dates are packed with nutrients. Consume dates in moderation for their health benefits. The banana and date fruit chutney was painstakingly formulated to improve the nutritional value, texture, and taste. It's a beautiful blend of tropical sweetness with deep caramel overtones. The chutney's microbiological, chemical, and physical properties were evaluated using quality evaluation criteria. The research set out to develop a condiment that would satisfy the increasing desire for unusual and exotic flavors while also providing possible health advantages from the use of nutrient-rich components.

<description>Prevalence of chronic kidney disease among diabetic patients in Bangladesh

Diabetes is an epidemic globally. It is not selective; that is, it can affect anyone, literally; it is&#13;
truly cross-sectional, and also multi-national. Notably, the occurrence of type 2 diabetes has&#13;
escalated at an alarming rate, especially in the low-and middle-income countries for over the&#13;
past three decades. Nevertheless, diabetic nephropathy- popularly known as diabetes, or&#13;
diabetic kidney disease- a type of CKD has significantly questioned this issue. It is an enduring&#13;
situation characterized primarily by damage to the capillary blood vessels in the glomeruli of&#13;
the kidneys’ nephrons. Diabetes is the most prevalent cause of CKD, reports The World Kidney&#13;

<title>Nutritional And Micronutrient Status Of Female Workers In Garments Factory In Savar, Dhaka</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/14595</link>
<description>Nutritional And Micronutrient Status Of Female Workers In Garments Factory In Savar, Dhaka
Akter, Nasrin
Background: There have been raised worries about the nutritional condition of Savar garments.&#13;
workers for several years, yet there is still a lack of sufficient data available. The study aims to investigate the nutritional and micronutrient levels of female employees in a garment factory in Savar, Dhaka, and determine the potential connection between body mass index and micronutrient status. Approach: A survey was carried out on 400 female employees at a clothing factory in Savar using the cross-sectional method. Anthropometric measurements were conducted alongside micronutrient consumption analysis (energy, water, protein, carbohydrate, VitA, VitB1, VitB2, VitB6, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, etc.). Associations were evaluated using bivariate correlations. Findings: In total, 31.4% of employees were considered to be underweight, 26.9% were diagnosed with anemia, 22.1% were found to have iron deficiency, and 46.5% were discovered to have low iron reserves. There was no evidence found of inadequate levels of vitamin A or B12. There was a slight association between body mass index and serum ferritin levels (inversely) as well as serum retinol-binding protein levels (directly). Research on skinny and non-skinny employees found variations in iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia, with a higher prevalence among the non-skinny individuals. Conclusions: There was a high rate of underweight, anemia, and low iron status. Young, nulliparous female textile workers in Savar could potentially face a greater risk of nutritional deficiencies. It is necessary to develop tactics to enhance their nutritional, micronutrient, and health conditions. Low levels of iron seem to play a role in the high occurrence of anemia. Both underweight and non-underweight&#13;
Individuals were impacted by low levels of hemoglobin and iron deficiency. Although body mass index was inversely related with iron reserves, genuine variations in iron status between underweight and non-underweight participants could not be substantiated.
