My Experience as an English Teacher at Wisdom International School To Observe the Present Scenario of English Teaching of Banglaeshi School
Sadia, Halima Tus
To become an English Teacher has always been a dream for me since early childhood. Because this profession is thoroughly involved in shaping future generations, empowering individual, instilling values to the diverse culture indulging in a person’s life. Developments of a nation is undeniably related to the teacher's dedication, adaptability, and ability to evolve with the changing needs of students and society.English undoubtedly has become essential part of global communication, and its importance cannot be overstated. From a survey it’s projected that Bangladeshis literacy rate has increased to 74.68% which is 0.77% increase from 2018. But the reason our country can’t reach to its main flow of advancement because Bangladesh doesn’t have good proficiency level in English. The country is following the same rigid teaching method to this continually evolving and adapting, reflecting language. It is recognized that the policy makers cannot import and adapt language teaching approach from the West without considering con-textual constraints (Humphries & Burns, 2015). Siddique (2004) has pinpointed the lack of language proficiency and knowledge of language teaching as a constraint in the use methodology in the classroom. As a result, the adaptability of learners to welcome the inconclusive language cannot incorporate words and expressions with the target language. Our country’s ELT has always been driven by some basic uncertainty lack of clear vision as to the fundamental status of English in the country. So, thiswhy despite significant amount of time and effort devoted to learning the language, many any students have not achieved satisfactory results (Smith, 2018). To improve this situation our country, should revise English education policies. The methodological feasibility adopting new language teaching method across the country should be reevaluated in the context of the needs of local learners and teachers. So, to explore teaching methods I was suggested by my supervisor to do three months internship in an educational institution. As per my supervisor’s instruction I completed my internship in Wisdom International School. In conclusion, I reflect on my internship experience at Wisdom International School a valuable and enriching journey that has provided me with valuable insights into the real-world application of the skills and knowledge. I have had the opportunity to learn using teaching methodologies, spend time observing proactive learning etc. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I have acquired will serve as a strong foundation for my future career aspirations and contribute to the success of the organization.

Love, Rebellion, and Relationships in Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four
Siddique, Abu Bakar
This study explores the systematic degradation of love and intimacy engineered by the ruling Party in George Orwell's dystopian masterwork, Nineteen Eighty-Four. People's natural ability to love is hampered by the Party's constant monitoring and forced measures, which instead make people obedient to the government. By using Sternberg's Triangular Theory of Love, which categorizes love into intimacy, passion, and commitment, we analyze the complex psychological aspects of love and examine how the Party exploits these components to suppress personal relationships. Also, the research utilizes Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to uncover the Party's motive for repressing love. This thesis highlights the connection between the Party's primary goal of complete control and its exploitation of love and relationships. Additionally, it studies closely the Party's use of harsh methods to get rid of resistance, as shown in Winston's final betrayal of Julia. This research reveals the crucial significance of love and relationships in psychological well-being while also highlighting how the Party's control restricts emotions and cognitive processes. The article seeks to emphasize the inherent importance of human connection while illuminating the abuse of authority. It acts as a powerful reminder to challenge authoritative persons who try to control our basic human needs.

Bangladeshi Undergraduate Students' Failure To Show Expected Competency in L2 Writing
Noor, MD. Farhan
Most fresh undergraduate students in Bangladesh fail to show the expected competence in English academic writing, though English is taught as a mandatory subject in Bangladesh from primary to higher secondary level. There have been several research conducted to find the problems students face in learning English writing in the context of Bangladesh. However, there has not been any empirical published work on the problems students face in the early stage of education. There are two very well-known facts that students in Bangladesh tend to memorize and do not want to write on their own (Khan and Akter, 2011). But is no detailed research work has been conducted to find out why students show such behavior. Therefore, this study aimed at i) finding the major problems students face before tertiary level, ii) why students are not interested in academic writing practices, and iii) reasons behind students’ tendency to memorize. The study was completed using mixed method in two phases. The first phase included conducting a survey of students who have freshly completed higher secondary education and have been admitted to universities. The second phase was taking interviews of students to get deeper insights into what students think about several aspects of the teaching techniques that are practiced in our education system. On the basis of their insights and opinions, several reasons have been found that bar their learning process. The problems include the pressure of grades, lack of feedback, motivation, opportunities to practice, and intolerance to errors, all of which indicate an ineffective method of teaching English academic writing practiced at the secondary and higher secondary level.
