<title>Characterization of Quality of Service in Mobile Communication Model</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/5938</link>
<description>Characterization of Quality of Service in Mobile Communication Model
Aderinto, Yidiat O.; Musa, Yusuf; Bamigbola, Olabode M.
In this paper, mathematical model of&#13;
mobile communication systems with traffic&#13;
congestion and interference was considered in an&#13;
attempt to study/ determine the quality of service&#13;
rendered by the mobile networks service&#13;
provider. The model was mathematically&#13;
characterized; existence and uniqueness of&#13;
solution was investigated, interference free steady&#13;
and persistence steady states equilibria was&#13;
established. Stability analysis was also carried&#13;
out. For effective understanding, numerical&#13;
simulation was carried out with classical fourth&#13;
order Runge-kutta method using Maple-18&#13;
software for different interference rate. Finally,&#13;
the results were analyzed appropriately and&#13;
relative conclusions were drawn.

<title>Trend Second Wave Covid-19 Pandemic in Bangladesh</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/5937</link>
<description>Trend Second Wave Covid-19 Pandemic in Bangladesh
Paul, Anip Kumar; Chakrabarty, Anuz Kumar
The aim of this study is to&#13;
analyze the trend of spreading out coronavirus&#13;
(COVID-19) for the second wave attack in&#13;
Bangladesh during this winter season. In this&#13;
study, we included all reported new confirmed and&#13;
death cases from March 30 to December 14, 2020.&#13;
Our intension is to explore the trend of dispersion&#13;
in infected and death cases after January, 2021. In&#13;
this paper, we have conducted statistical analysis&#13;
of Covid-19 in Bangladesh to deliver with reliable&#13;
and perfect forecasts of the outbreak. We used MS&#13;
excel and SPSS software for regression analysis&#13;
and found the slope of the trendline of the data&#13;
and R-squared value for both infected and death&#13;
cases. The new confirmed cases gradually increase&#13;
with date (from March, 30 to June) and reach&#13;
towards the peak for first wave attack. We get the&#13;
slope of the trendline for infected case which is&#13;
increasing first as 2    47.562, 0.8799 R and&#13;
decreasing later as 2     20.709, 0.6816 R (from July&#13;
to September) for first wave. After then again, the&#13;
slope is increasing. Death cases are also following&#13;
the same trend pattern. This analysis may help to&#13;
take significant role for securing public health for&#13;
Bangladeshi people. In this situation, Bangladesh&#13;
needs to take emergency management system to&#13;
protect the attack of the virus which we going to&#13;
face for second wave. As well as people should&#13;
concern about the guidelines provided by IEDCR&#13;
and WHO up to get vaccine.

<title>A Model for the Classification of Breast Cancer Using Random Forest Algorithm</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/5936</link>
<description>A Model for the Classification of Breast Cancer Using Random Forest Algorithm
Oyelakin, Akinyemi Moruff
Breast cancer is a common disease among&#13;
women globally. Past studies have used Machine&#13;
learning techniques to speed up the prediction of the&#13;
disease using labeled datasets. This study proposed a&#13;
supervised machine learning approach for the&#13;
classification of breast cancer. The model was built&#13;
using Random Forest Algorithm. The dataset chosen&#13;
for this study is a Wisconsin breast cancer (Diagnostic)&#13;
dataset. The breast cancer dataset was originally&#13;
released by the University of Wisconsin Hospitals,&#13;
Madison. Python programming language and some of&#13;
its libraries were used for the experimental analyses.&#13;
The dataset was split in the ratio 75:25 percent as&#13;
training and testing sets respectively. The metrics used&#13;
for the performance evaluation of the model built&#13;
include: accuracy, precision, recall, f1-score, and&#13;
Cohen’s Kappa Statistics. In the experimental&#13;
analyses, accuracy of 96% was recorded. 98% was&#13;
obtained for the precision. For the recall, 96% was&#13;
obtained. Moreso, 97% was obtained for F1-score&#13;
while 91% was recorded for Cohen’s Kappa Statistics.&#13;
The model provides superior classification&#13;
performance in terms of the chosen evaluation metrics.

<title>Investigation on Various Flax Fiber Properties to Identify Their Potential and Sustainable Applications</title>
<link>http://dspace.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd:8080/handle/123456789/5935</link>
<description>Investigation on Various Flax Fiber Properties to Identify Their Potential and Sustainable Applications
Raihan, Md. Mashud; Khatun, Mst. Murshida
This article represents the results of an&#13;
analysis of different flax fiber properties which were&#13;
expressed in different forms such as Spinning&#13;
Consistency Index (SCI), Micronaire values, Maturity,&#13;
Length, Uniformity, Short Fiber Index (SFI), Strength,&#13;
Elongation, Moisture, Rd, y+b, Color Grade, and&#13;
Trash Count. All these properties were found from the&#13;
High-Volume Instrument (HVI) testing machine. In&#13;
past, flax fiber was mainly used as a long staple form,&#13;
however, now it can be used as a cottonized form that&#13;
means short-staple form, which is mainly done by&#13;
blending with another short-staple spinning. In this&#13;
experiment, different cottonized flax fibers, which were&#13;
taken from different conditions, were used. Properties&#13;
of Spinning Consistency Index (SCI), Maturity,&#13;
Length, Uniformity, Short Fiber Index (SFI), Strength&#13;
and Moisture Regain % showed higher quality for&#13;
Scoured flax fiber. Micronaire value, Elongation %,&#13;
Color grade, and Trash count gave upper quality for&#13;
Bleached China Flax. Rd value for Bleached SFL-70&#13;
flax fiber and +b for both Mira flax and Anger flax&#13;
dark exhibited excellent results.
