<description>An Analysis of Employability Skills of B.Sc. Graduates of Entrepreneurship Program in Camarines Norte State College
Lamug, Gehana D.; Sureta, Alex V.
Tracing the employment history of graduates is an important process to assess the relevance of a particular academic program according to the needs of industry. This study utilized quantitative-descriptive method. The study revealed that majority of the students who graduated from 2016 to 2019 are female, currently aged between 21 and 25 years, and they are employed in local or regional organizations in clerical positions. Further, very few graduates took additional courses, passed government examinations, and were granted with company recognition or awards. The study also found out that they perceived their soft and hard skills as excellent in terms of teamwork, work coordination, communication, time management, sales and marketing, and use of computer in various online and offline applications. The major problems encountered while seeking employment are lack of work experiences needed for the job and low salary to compensate expenses during employment. To further enhance the graduates' employability, strategies to improve the BS in Entrepreneurship program were proposed that play a vital role in producing highly employable and quality graduates.

<description>Application of Stochastic Differential Equation in Insurance Portfolio Construction Involving Leverage Function and Elasticity of Debt and Equity
Ogungbenle, Gbenga Michael; Ihedioha, Silas Abahia; Zayed, Nurul Mohammad
Leverage effect specifies the functional relationship between stock returns and volatility. As stock price declines, volatility tends to rise. Thus, the variability in market prices of a company's stock has pervasive effect when measuring the level of leverage in the capital structure. The determination of portfolio value of an investor using the continuous time second order stochastic differential equation has major consequence on leverage function. Usually, structural stochastic value of leveraged firms treats company's portfolio as equity whose underlying instrument is the company's asset. In this paper, the objectives are to theoretically: (i) measure the value of insurance company's portfolio by second order stochastic differential equation, (ii) apply Ito's rule to obtain a value on its leverage function and, (iii) obtain the analytical correspondence between equity and volatility in a leveraged company through infinitesimal calculus. The stochastic second order differential equation of portfolio value under two arguments results in equilibrium position which provides the traded price of the derivative, furthermore the linear combination of first order derivative of volatilities with respect to equity and debt is vanishingly zero based on the underlying elasticity of stock volatilities. The resultant effect is that elasticity = of debt and equity cancel out and -15E, SOSE, 51

<description>Multiplier Effect of Tourism
Kobra, Mst. Khadijatul; Parvez, Mahbub; Khalil, Md. Ibrahim
Culture plays an important role for boosting up tourism. This study was conducted to understand how the culture of Bangladesh and sustainable development issues are showcased in Bangladesh Folk Arts and Crafts Foundation. The paper attempts to find out the tourist stream and for forming sustainable tourism and society. In this study, qualitative method, interviews, Key Informant Interviews (KII), and quantitative method, and analyzing software excel (time series analysis) were used. Moreover, 30 years'temperature was analyzed to understand the weather impact on tourist flow. It is identified that both the domestic and international tourist flow has been swayed over the last ten years because of the climatic condition in Bangladesh. Additionally, it is noticed that weather has prodigious impact in tourist's decision making of visiting the establishments of the foundation. This research helps to reshape tourism sector with sustainability by adding amenities. It also expedites the environment, society, economy and so on. The authors emphasize on developing sustainable 4As (accessibility, attractions, amenities, and ancillary services) to contribute to national economy of Bangladesh. Most importantly, community development and their economic benefits are the possible positive outcomes of focusing on the advancement of this destination. There is no doubt that without ensuring above facilities, it would be difficult to make sustainable economic development of the society.

<description>Determinants of Accumulated Pension Funds under Defined Contribution in Nigeria
J. S, Adeyele; S. L., Jim-Suleiman
Prompt pension payment at retirement to retirees is critical to survival of defined contribution (DC) pension in Nigeria. If all the expected contributions are not remitted before attaining retirement age, there will be delays for pension payments as unremitted funds are being awaited. This study is designed to investigate the extent of employers' contributions, role of Pension Funds Administrators (PFAs), regulator's roles, and funding gaps effect on accumulated pension funds. The population for the study comprised of all the federal universities in Nigeria. North Central part of the country was chosen among the six geopolitical zones in which three federal universities were selected. Purposive sampling technique was adopted to select 450 respondents based on their wiliness to participate in the research to ascertain their experiences in defined contribution pension system in Nigeria. Ordinary Least Square statistics was used to analyze collected data. Findings revealed that the employer's contributions, the regulatory role, and funding gap have positive and significant effect on accumulated pension funds while the role of PFAs has negative effect on accumulated pension. The study concluded that effective regulation of pension system will positively impact on adequacy of accumulated pension funds as the amounts representing funding gaps are expected to be remitted to employees' retirement saving accounts before retirement age is attained.
