Ticketkatun: A Web Based Application

Abstract

Our railway ticket booking system is very helpful for passengers. It is a web based system where passengers can book or purchase their desired tickets from home, get information about train, get train fair prices, get information about routes, can print train tickets etc. Aim of this project is to design and build a web application and create a good system for both users and administration. Where users can easily open an account from home with some required information and can purchase their desire tickets. On the other hand, administrator also can easily maintain schedules, trains, train routes and print sales report etc. In our country, there are number of stations for the purchase the tickets like Kamalapur Station, Airport Station and Zila Stations to get desired tickets. But they do not provide online services, we have to go those stations for purchase our desired train tickets. We all know about our road traffics, and when comes vacations like Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha it is more irony to get a train ticket from stations. In one word it is very stressful work to purchase tickets physically from stations. I think this is a good solution for getting up from that high level of irony and stressful work. It is a web application-based project which has a lot of features, to help us get rid of that hazard.
