Abstract

His Excellency, Mr. Masud Bin Momen, UN Permanent Representative of Bangladesh and Ambassador was present as the Chief Guest on the Daffodil Alumni North American Reunion 2019 held in New York in the USA on June 15, 2019 and said that it's really praiseworthy to arrange such kind of reunion program in North America by Daffodil Family. Developed countries use their alumni to enhance organizational development through which the overall country becomes benefited. He thanked Daffodil Family for arranging this program. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Daffodil Family was present as the special guest in the program and said that ‘emotion’ is one of our major strengths; if we can properly utilize this emotion we can gain a lot. We need to be united. That's why we want to develop Daffodil Alumni platform. The event started with a river cruise from Sky Port Marina by ‘The Empire Cruise’ towards the Statue of Liberty with the Daffodil Alumni. The Alumni got the opportunity to recollect their memories, exchanged and shared views and joined in several fun and cultural events. The river cruise turned into a great gathering of Daffodillies' coming from different parts of North America.
