6th Convocation held

Abstract

Mr.Nurdl Islam Nahid, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Education conferred the degrees among the graduates on dul Mannan, the b6th Convocation ceremony of DIU that he presided over on 22nd February 2017 at the permanent campus of DIU, Ashulia In the 6th convocation a fotal of 3,473 students were conferred upon graduation and post graduation degrees and among them 13 best result oriented graduates were awarded ‘Gold Medal in different categories. Dr. G Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor VIT University, Vellore, President-Education Promotion Society for Ihdia New Delhi attended the convocation as the Convocation Speaker. The convocation was dlso addressed by Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC), Md Sabur Khan, Charman, Board of Trustees, DIU: and Prof Dr. YM Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU Education Minister appreciated DIU to conduct academic activities in own permanent campus He showed his satisfaction to DIU's significant contribution to the ICT oriented skil manpower and development of ICT sector of Bangladesh | UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan appreciated DIU's research works and entrepreneurial initiatives.
