DIU Facilities : A Web Based Application

Abstract

DIU Facilities (DIUF) is an online platform specially developed for the students and faculties of the Daffodil International University. This project is an online website from where multiple services like transport, medical, hostel, canteen, gymnasium, clubs and more are given to the students. Daffodil International University is well known education institute all over the world. The facilities this university provides must be very good and it must maintain their reputation around the world. That’s why DIU Facilities has been introduced. This online platform will help the teachers and students to gain knowledge about any facility in an instant they want whether it is transport they seek to go to the university in time, or looking for something to eat in the campus and much more. This report describes the analysis, design, implementation and testing of DIU Facilities. In this website we have worked with six particular facilities within Daffodil International University which are Transport, Canteen, Hostel, Medical, Gymnasium and Clubs. The website consists of 2 particular modules, one is User module and the other one is Admin module. Here, the users are students of teachers of Daffodil International University who have to register for any enquiry related to the desired facilities. They can gain information about the bus routes, canteens or restaurant locations and menus and book foods with in campus, hostel rooms booking system, medical and pharmacy information near university and gymnasium information. The admin module contains access of admin page on the website. The admin can change everything on the website. He or She will have the ability to add, delete and update any information or any facilities.
