dc.description.abstract Primary education is considered as the foundation of education. During this stage, students acquire basic skills, knowledge, and competencies in various subjects such as language, mathematics, science, etc. Being an international language, learning English at the primary education level is a great way to help children develop strong language skills that will benefit them in the future. It can provide them with a strong foundation in the language and open up opportunities for personal and professional growth in the future. Hence the objective of my project was to understand the opportunities and challenges to learn English language in primary education system in Bangladesh. I have completed my project in two parts. First, I have analyzed the English book contents from class one to five. Secondly, I have visited the school, observed their teaching method and took two classes. Finally, based on my work I have summarized the overall findings and recommended few suggestions. en_US
