dc.description.abstract	Channel 24 is mainly a satellite based television channel and this channel is based on Bangladeshi Bengali-language. Channel 24 was launched on 24 May 2012 and at the very beginning it was a mixed entertainment channel, gradually airing news programming. Channel 24 head office is located at Tejgaon, Dhaka. This channel aired programmes related to news and current affairs that was owned by Times Media Limited, a subsidiary company of the Ha-meem Group. Channel 24 became the top news channel in Bangladesh within two years of its launch. This channel is famous for broadcasting sports news and sports related programmes.
