Abstract:
I have been working on a web-based project called "Project Management Information
System (PMIS)". The aim of this website is to facilitate the final year defense process for
students. With the help of this website, students can easily register for their final year
defense. They can choose up to three supervisors and three co-supervisors from the
teachers of their choice. The admin will then select one supervisor and one co-supervisor
from among the teachers selected by the student. Once the supervisor is selected, they
will be able to see all the student information on their dashboard. The supervisor will set
the schedule for the student's title defense, pre-defense, and final defense, and also open
the option for the student to submit the required documents, which can be seen on the
student dashboard. With this feature, students can attend and submit all their documents
on time. Teachers can view and mark all student submissions, and students will be able to
see the final result on their dashboard. This website will make the final year defense
process easier for students and more efficient for teachers.
