dc.description.abstract In today's fast-paced digital era, universities and educational institutions play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our society. They serve as hubs of knowledge, research, and innovation, and their ability to harness the power of technology is critical for delivering high-quality education and staying competitive globally. One of the fundamental pillars of this technological advancement is the network infrastructure that connects students, faculty, researchers, and staff to the vast world of information available on the internet. With the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses, IPv6 offers a vast address space, improved security, and enhanced network performance. Yet, many educational institutions, including universities, are yet to fully embrace and optimize IPv6 within their network infrastructure. This report shows the deployment of ipv6 in a campus network with network technology, network equipment selection, and how they could be optimized, and gives the network topology diagram and implementation of the secure campus area network. en_US
