Abstract:
The necessity of robust communication platforms within educational communities has become
increasingly important in an era marked by the rapid advancement of technology and the evolution
of professional landscapes. An innovative online tool, "TIE-UP DIU," has been specifically
developed for the Daffodil International University (DIU) community, which includes students,
alumni, and instructors. Its purpose is to facilitate the exchange of information, skill development,
and career advancement. By offering a personalized environment for academic collaboration,
industry-level training, and research opportunities, this platform addresses the unique requirements
of educational groups that are frequently overlooked by conventional social media platforms.
"TIE-UP DIU" aspires to become a comprehensive resource center, despite the initial challenges
it faces, including the lack of domain hosting and database requirements. The project comprised a
comprehensive overview, problem description, objectives, scope, literature review, system design,
implementation, and societal impact. By drawing insights from existing platforms and research, it
endeavors to reconcile disparities in user experience, functionality, and security, fostering a more
inclusive and engaging environment. Utilizing a MERN architecture for backend performance and
a user-friendly front end with technologies like Vanilla JavaScript and Daisy UI, the platform
supports up to 500 concurrent users effectively. Thorough testing ensures it meets user
expectations and handles tension efficiently. Ultimately, "TIE-UP DIU" exemplifies a robust web
platform designed to enhance knowledge sharing, skill development, and professional growth
within the DIU community, promoting academic and social integration while contributing to
societal innovation and economic stability.
