The Tour & Travel Management System, also known as Travel Assistant, is a comprehensive web-based application designed to streamline the booking and management of travel packages. This project aims to digitize the entire tour booking and payment process, providing users with a seamless and efficient way to plan and book their travel experiences. By leveraging modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and React for the frontend, and Node.js for the backend, the system offers a user-friendly interface that simplifies user interactions and enhances the overall travel planning experience. The use of a MongoDB database ensures efficient data storage and retrieval, supporting robust booking management functionalities. The system incorporates key features such as user registration and login, profile management, search capabilities, booking management, payment processing, and the ability to create and join travel packages and events. Additionally, users can leave reviews and feedback, contributing to an interactive and community-driven platform. To ensure the system meets the evolving needs of users, the Agile development model was adopted, allowing for iterative improvements and continuous feedback integration. This flexible approach has enabled the early identification and mitigation of risks, ensuring the project's success. The project not only enhances the efficiency of travel planning and booking but also promotes transparency and security through its integrated e-payment system and clear communication of policies and terms. Future enhancements include expanding geographical coverage, developing a mobile application, and incorporating advanced personalization features.
