Abstract:
For many years, natural products derived from plants have been used to sustain human health. The hunt for natural remedies has increased recently. The antidiarrheal, thrombolytic, and phytochemical screening qualities of the methanol extract from Coriandrum sativum seeds were examined in this work. Testing with phytochemicals revealed the presence of carbohydrates, Glycosides, Alkaloids, Tannin, Gums and Phytosterols. There were thrombolytic activity applied to Coriandrum sativum seeds. Standard streptokinase (SK) was used to compare the results of the assessment of thrombolytic activity conducted on human blood samples. The study found that the MSF (methanol soluble fraction) had the highest percentage of thrombolytic activity 55.77%. The use of herbal drugs in the treatment of diarrhea is a common practice in many countries. The antidiarrheal activity in mice at two distinct doses was evaluated using the castor oil-induced diarrhea method. anti-diarrheal activity (39.11% and 73.92% decrease in diarrhea at 250 mg/kg and 500 mg/kg) in comparison to the usual 70.01%loperamide value.
