Abstract:
The “Mental Health Support Network" is a web-based project to help individuals facing mental
health challenges. My goal is to make it easier for people to find support and resources. The main
goal of this web-based project is to provide a user-friendly platform for individuals to connect
with mental health resources. Users can easily navigate the website, accessing a variety of support
materials and insights. The platform draws on a wealth of knowledge to empower users to find
resources that align with their needs and personal growth objectives. The website will offer
resources and support for individuals dealing with mental health issues. There will be three types
of users: i) Normal Users ii) Therapists and iii) System Admin. Admin has all kinds of access
such as providing videos, podcasts, and blogs, maintaining the group, uploading therapist
information, adding questions and answers in the chatbot, maintaining events, etc. The users can
watch videos, read blogs, and listen to podcasts by registering themselves or without
authenticating. They can ask enquires related to mental health issues in discussion groups by
authenticating and users also can comment in group discussions. In the group discussion section, user can express their problem and get support from therapists as well as experts and also can see
other people how they get their solutions. Users also can get support from a chatbot and they can
also chat with therapists and join events on mental health support. The therapist list will be
available with proper information about them to contact with. There is some future scope in the
project like video call support features directly with a therapist and integrated AI support for
mental health problems. By providing resources and support, I aim to make it easier to find a
solution linked to mental health issues.
