Abstract:
As the name suggests “HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is a program built project
for managing different activities in the hostel. For the last several years as we know the
number of educational institutions are expanding significantly. Thereby the number of
hostels are also expanding for the housing of the students studying in these institutions.
And so there is a lot of emphasis on the person who are operating the hostel and software’s
are not frequently employed in this scenario. This specific project deals with the challenges
of operating a hostel and eliminates the complications which come when conducted
manually. Identification of the flaws of the present system leads to computerized system
that will be compatible to the existing system with the system, which is more user pleasant.
We can increase the efficiency of the system, hence remove the shortcomings of the present
system. The system promotes operational efficiency, transparency, and data integrity by
giving real-time updates and retaining structured records. Through testing and deployment
on a web server, the Hostel administration. System intends to deliver a user-friendly and
dependable solution for contemporary hostel administration, eventually enhancing the
overall experience for both students and administrators.
