dc.description.abstract Portfolio Builder is a new generation web-application which is aimed at providing effective tools for professional portfolio construction and job search as well as job application. To aid the users in this selection, portfolio layouts are available in many designs allowing the users to have their preferred portfolio designs that suit their proficiency and experience. The functionality of the platform involves the input of the personal information, the history of work experience, the experience in the projects, and the experience in skills with providing the real-time view of the final structure. Finally, users are able to export the portfolio in the format of their choice. Besides the portfolio creation, Portfolio Builder also contains a job search engine where customers can view and sort through the present job offers according to particular characteristics, including the locality, sector, and/or kind of work. It also has a good way through which individuals applying for jobs can apply directly on the site; the status of their application can also be viewed. Developed with the MERN stack, the front part of the web application uses HTML, Tailwind CSS, Daisy UI, and React.js along with the help of React-router for better location management and Redux for better handling of the application state. The backend, with the help of Node.js and Express.js, guarantees quick and proper work of the server, and MongoDB solves the problem of data storage competently.
