Abstract

This internship report details the process of preparing for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam, highlighting the strategies used, the knowledge gained, the results achieved, and the potential future implications. The primary goal of this internship was to improve students' English language skills and prepare them for both academic and professional settings where proficiency in English is essential. A key benefit of this internship was the opportunity it provided to unlock a wide range of academic and career opportunities through achieving a high IELTS band score. As English has become the global language for communication, mastering it is crucial for success in both education and career advancement. The preparation process involved significant planning, such as selecting study materials, creating a study schedule, taking practice tests, and analyzing feedback. To improve their skills, students worked independently, participated in preparation programs, and sought advice from mentors and peers. As a result, the student was able to achieve a high IELTS band score, showing the effectiveness of the preparation methods. Additionally, the internship gave me valuable insights into my own strengths and areas for improvement in English language proficiency.
