dc.description.abstract The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka, bears the title of being the world's most denselypopulated city. As of 2022, the population of Dhaka was 10.2 million, and Greater Dhaka has about 22.4 million citizens. Dhaka faces the constant challenge of escalating congestion, particularly in its roadways. The city’s infrastructure struggles to cope with the increasing vehicles, resulting in extensive traffic jams. Contributing factors include faulty traffic signaling systems, insufficient personnel, limited road space, and aggressive driving habits. These traffic congestions adversely affect our health. To address this issue the government could consider various solutions such as constructing roads to improve east-west connectivity within Dhaka, putting in place a system of grade-separated roads, launching a BRT system, and creating a Metro-Rail system. By all evirating traffic congestion, Dhaka can play a significant role in enriching a healthier environment free from noise and pollution, thereby enhancing the quality of life for its residents. en_US
