dc.description.abstract Waste generation is an indispensable part of human existence. The proportion of the waste generation in Bangladesh have been rising with population increasing. Waste management has become an important environmental challenge faced by municipalities. The collection and disposal of waste have grown more difficult as urbanization has increased. The main purpose of the study was to built the easiest and time saving waste collection route at Shukrabad area under Dhaka south city Corporation. We visited the area, collected some pictures and inspected the area with mentioned characteristics.We made some questions and collected the answer from the people of this area.We collected information from 10 van drivers transporting waste from different locations and 2 supervisors working at secondary stations, including how they routed their waste collection, reviewed their work and listened to it.After completing the whole process and the feedback of the residents we proposed a route, which will be the most suitable for this area. We could discuss some potential features that might contribute in future management of the wastes for this particular area. en_US
