Abstract:
“Mentor” is an online educational platform designed to facilitate distance learning for
teachers and students. While face-to-face physical classes hold great value, various
circumstances can make them unfeasible, and this platform aims to bridge that gap by
providing an accessible and flexible learning solution. Teachers can create and
customize courses, while students can enroll in these courses, participate in learning
activities, submit assignments, and attend quizzes. The platform's main goals are to
create a seamless and engaging learning environment, facilitate effective knowledge
delivery, and establish robust communication channels between learners and
instructors. To achieve these objectives, “Mentor” employs a responsive design
approach, ensuring compatibility across devices like computers, tablets, and
smartphones. Incorporating modern web technologies such as Laravel and Bootstrap,
the platform offers a clean, minimalist, and robust user interface that focuses on
essential functionalities, enhancing usability and user experience. Additionally,
features like secure course enrollment, class joining, quiz attendance, attendance
submission, and job placement support are included to enhance the overall learning
experience. By addressing the diverse needs of users, “Mentor” aims to revolutionize
distance education and make quality learning accessible to everyone. Continuous
