Abstract:
This paper provides a thorough analysis of the crucial role of public prosecutors in Bangladesh's criminal justice system, with a particular focus on enhancing their professional competencies and facilitating the pursuit of justice. By drawing upon legal frameworks, empirical studies, and case analyses, it examines the challenges faced by public prosecutors, including resource constraints, institutional barriers, and procedural complexities. Additionally, the paper proposes a set of suggestions aimed at strengthening the capacity of public prosecutors, encouraging ethical conduct, and promoting accountability. By addressing these problems, the criminal justice system can better uphold the rule of law, protect human rights, and ensure fair access to justice for all citizens.
