dc.description.abstract Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel is the latest addition of Marriott hotels in Bangladesh. I have had an incredible opportunity to work at the front office department of Renaissance Dhaka for 6 months as a trainee at the front desk. As a front office trainee, I have got to learn the core tasks of the front desk section and contribute to the operations of the hotel. This report is based on my 6 month internship at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel. The purpose of the report is to analyze the front desk operations to identify major findings and to provide recommendations based on that. Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel is significantly different from other Marriot hotels and has its unique attributes and services. The hotel aims to provide memorable experience to its guests along with a touch of local culture and heritage. Twelve departments of the hotel work in collaboration to achieve this goal. en_US
