Analysis of Credit Operation and Performance of Mutual Trust Bank PLC

Abstract

Mutual Trust Bank is the organization where I have done my three months internship and here, I have submitted my Internship Report in partial fulfillment of my MBA Program. The contents of this report are mainly based on the observation and analysis of my day to day works carried in credit department of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, Ashulia Branch. MTB, an acronym for Mutual Trust Bank PLC is one of the leading private banking organisation of Bangladesh providing general banking , loan and advance & capital market services etc. In the financial system, a specific institution like a bank has the responsibility of mobilizing resources from the public in terms of deposits and providing the same to the business and other individuals in terms of loans. Moreover, the report goes through the interest paid to deposit holders and the interest earned by the bank from borrowers. This report also covers the risk assessment procedures of MTB, as well as its disbursement and recovery responsibilities.
