Abstract:
Counterproductive work behavior poses a big challenge for the organizational employee's work productivity and effectiveness. This internship report shows the factors that contribute to counterproductive work behavior among the employees of Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra and it’s a non-government organization. By different approaches such as combining surveys and face-to-face interviews, data were collected from various departments from this Padakhep Manabik Unnayan Kendra. This analysis shows that multifactor influencing counterproductive work behavior which include organizational internal culture, employees' job satisfaction, perceived justice, leadership, etc. But some individual characteristics like employees' personality traits and demographics play an important role in counterproductive work behavior. This report's findings suggest that interventional factors can mitigate counterproductive work behavior and improve organizational performance. This internship report research contributes both theoretical and practical strategies for controlling counterproductive work behavior in similar organizational practices.
