dc.description.abstract Pancreatic cancer, with its insidious onset and challenging prognosis, compels a comprehensive exploration of recent advancements in early detection and treatment. This thorough review meticulously dissects innovative strategies spanning surgical, medical, and collaborative spectrums. Surgical interventions, including the refined Whipple procedure and minimally invasive techniques, undergo careful scrutiny, aiming to delineate their impact on patient outcomes. The review meticulously assesses the effectiveness and adoption of contemporary chemotherapeutic regimens, exemplified by FOLFIRINOX and Gemcitabine with Abraxane. Insights into their efficacy and widespread application in treating advanced pancreatic cancer are dissected to provide a comprehensive understanding of their role in the evolving landscape of therapeutic options. Advanced radiation therapy methods, notably Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), are critically examined for their potential to augment treatment outcomes. Immunotherapy and targeted therapies, with a focus on PARP inhibitors and Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, are scrutinized with an emphasis on specific genetic mutations. The review delves into the evolving role of these therapies in addressing the molecular intricacies of pancreatic cancer, providing insights into their potential as targeted treatment modalities. The role of precision medicine takes center stage, accentuating genomic profiling and personalized treatment paradigms. The exploration of this individualized approach sheds light on its potential to optimize therapeutic outcomes based on the unique genetic profiles of patients with pancreatic cancer. Pioneering advancements in early detection methods, encompassing imaging technologies and liquid biopsies, are underscored for their potential to revolutionize timely diagnosis and intervention. This all-encompassing review aspires to furnish a nuanced understanding of the evolving landscape of pancreatic cancer, delivering insights into avant-garde approaches and steering future initiatives in research and patient care. en_US
