Financial Performance Analysis of Janata Bank PLC

Abstract

In this study, the financial activities and performance of Janata Bank PLC over the last 5 years were examined. I utilized numerous approaches, including ratio analysis, common size statement, and trend analysis, to assess the financial performance of Janata Bank using the last five years' data (2019-2023) annual report. For the purpose of ratio analysis, I have calculated many ratios, including those for profitability, liquidity, management effectiveness, and market value, as well as the trend of these ratios. In the introductory section, I discussed the setting of the study and the structure of the report. Objectives, scope, restrictions, and techniques are also included, along with the sources used for data collection. I gathered data using both required and auxiliary information. The organizational component, which includes thorough information on the company's corporate aim, vision, product &services, and resources, as well as branch and other Janata Bank PLC. facilities, was the next topic I covered.
