dc.description.abstract This thesis explores the consequences of enzyme-stone wash and bleach wash on denim apparel, concentrating on factors such as size reduction, mass decrease, and alterations in physical attributes.Denim washing is a critical stage in garment manufacturing aimed at meeting consumer preferences, and comprehending these outcomes is crucial for upholding quality benchmarks. The research scrutinizes various washing methods, encompassing enzyme-stone wash and bleach wash, assessing their influence on apparel dimensions, visual appeal, and mechanical traits. By meticulously analyzing samples obtained from a denim producer, the investigation uncovers significant observations: enzyme-stone wash induces noticeable shrinkage and mass reduction, resulting in heightened EPI and PPI values, while bleach wash similarly leads to diminished garment measurements and mass loss. These findings offer beneficial insights for textile engineering professionals, assisting in refining denim washing techniques to attain desired garment finishes and effectively satisfy market requirements. en_US
