dc.description.abstract This research examines the traffic characteristics and determines the level of service (LOS) at a significant non-signalized intersection. The goal is to analyze the traffic patterns in a commercial area and evaluate the intersection's performance. The traffic statistics were gathered via video camera throughout three distinct time in three different days (Bpl Final Match Day, Thursday, Friday). The LOS was determined using the volume capacity ratio and Peak Hour Factor (PHF) approach. Comprehensive data analysis reveals that the traffic at this intersection exhibits heterogeneity and is not organized by lanes. The Rickshaw is the most prevalent vehicle, followed by motorcycles and cars in terms of overall traffic volume in Regular Thursday and Weekend Day (Friday). But in peak day Car is the most dominating vehicle comparatively other vehicle. The Mirpur 1-Mirpur 2 approach hasthe most unfavorable Level of Service (LOS), whereas the Posika Mor approachdemonstrates superior performance in comparison to the other two approaches. Mirpur 2 intersection's LOS during the BPL Final Match Day is founded in the "F" category at the evening peak. The findings contribute valuable insights to urban planners, traffic engineers, and event organizers, aiding in the development of strategies to enhance the intersection's performance and user experience during major events. en_US
