dc.description.abstract Demolition of buildings involves the systematic dismantling or destruction of structures, typically to make way for new construction, redevelopment or safety reasons .The process vary in complexity and methods based on factors such building size, materials and surrounding Environment. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the multifaceted aspects of demolition, covering a spectrum of tropics critical to the effective and sustainable execution of demolition projects. It explores various demolition techniques, ranging from traditional methods such as Manual deconstruction to advanced technologies like robotic demolition and implosion. Safety Management practices are examined in- depth, emphasizing, importance of stringent protocols. And cutting-edge technologies to safeguard both workers and the surrounding environment. Cost factors associated with demolition projects are scrutinized, offering insights into the economic consideration that influence decision-making. The study also focuses on the increasing emphasis on recycling and reuse in demolition, with an emphasis on waste reduction through deconstruction processes. The paper examines innovative practice and technologies that contribute to sustainability, emphasizing the role of the construction industry in environmental responsibility. Technological advancement in demolition machinery, automation, and real-time monitoring are discussed, showcasing how these innovations enhance efficiency and safety. The integration of building information modeling and other digital tools for demolition planning and execution is also explored. Furthermore, the paper investigate the role of community engagement in demolition projects, collaboration, and addressing community concerns. It highlights the need for a holistic approach that incorporates the perspectives of residents and stakeholders to achieve successful and socially responsible demolition outcomes. In summary, this overview provides a comprehensive understanding of demolition processes, techniques, safety management, cost consideration, recycling, reuse, technological advancement, and the pivotal role of community engagement in fostering sustainable demolition practice. en_US
