dc.description.abstract At present, the city is growing day by day. People are constantly moving towards a better life. Along with a better life, peoples are making the environment dirty. As of now, only 2.01 billion tons of municipal solid waste is generated in the world every year. As such, there are about 25 thousand tons of municipal solid waste in Bangladesh, which is a threat to the environment and our lives. On the other hand, new buildings are being built for a better life. Where rod, brick sand along with cement plays the most important role. Cement is very expensive nowadays. Even getting good quality cement is difficult. Certain ingredients are used in cement, notably ammonia or calcium nitrate and silicates, which in excess can damage the quality of cement and its color. Eggshells are waste material. Eggshells are usually easily available in biscuit and bread factories. The main component of eggshells is calcium carbonate. In this paper we can see how we can use eggshells powder as some partial replacement of cement where we have compared normal cement as well as partial mixture to get a better strength. We have used eggshells of 0%, 1%, 6%, 12% of cement. For this we did sieve analysis, a tensile and compressive test. By using eggshells powder, we can save some waste from the environment while being cost-effective. After the test we can say that 6% of eggshells powder can be replaced against cement. en_US
