Abstract:
The goal of this project is all about my teaching experiences as an English teacher at Abdus Subhan Model High School. The internship has provided an opportunity for me to utilize the theoretical knowledge in the classroom while teaching my students. As Abdus Subhan Model High School is one of the oldest schools in Dhamrai, so it has numerous students which has offered excellent learning environment for the students and helped me to increase my career professionally. Not only that I have always maintained a friendly environment in the class throughout my internship journey, so that student can easily share their opinion with me. I have used different variables like teaching methodologies, and meet all the need of the students by using different learning abilities. In addition, I have learnt about the lesson planning, grading and collaborate with the other teachers of the school to know their techniques of teaching. In this project, I have also described about Communicative Language Teaching, reflective practice as well as Total Physical Response method. There are some visible issues in the teaching profession of Bangladesh, I have also discussed about that. I have also faced some of the challenges such as different proficiency level of students, student engagement in the class and problem-solving skills. This project has also reflected some of the key lessons which I have learned in my internship periods like creativity, adaptability and classroom management in the teaching system. It has also highlighted how my internship experience will be contributing to my professional career. The ultimate goal of this project is to know the lesson plan of the teachers, the resources that have been used by the teachers and how to improve the engagement with the students in the classroom. This internship was one of the nicest experiences that I have ever got in my life and it also made me prepare for the future
