Abstract:
Involved in leadership roles, workshops, journalism clubs, as well as training sessions inspired by a newsroom. It's time to prove that you can make a contribution in news productivity, in educational institutions for journalists, and in media literacy. By taking advantage of these, my portfolio will become an dynamic representation of my skills,newsroom experience, and my dedication to the practice of responsible digital journalism. I feel that the career plan not only will put me into a place where I will be capable of functioning within the realm of multimedia journalism, but will also have an impact upon my development and credibility based upon an understanding of theory as well as practice. This report is all about my experience and the knowledge I have gathered during my internship at the Multimedia department of Jago News. I am Sifat Al Fahim, and my internship duration is of twelve weeks. This report will provide an overall insight into my experience during my internship at Jago News. First, I will describe what is Jago News and how it works as an organization. I would also like to mention their staff who are the backbone of the operations in the newsroom. I am grateful to my supervisor as well as my seniors who have been helping me in my internship duration. My Weekly Activities Are Discussed in this Report I shall point out the way I utilize each week and how the experience fits what I have learned from schooling. In my multimedia project, I will also describe the tools used. This report, though, will stress more on skills achieved in this internship. It was a good decision to opt for this internship. I have learned everything. Moreover, it has provided me with skills that I will be able to apply in my future profession. One of the most important things that I have realized is that in the current working environment, we have to be able to learn a series of skills. It is important that in the media domain, one has to work simultaneously and learn new things continuously.
