Stepping Into Sports Journalism: My Experience at Daily Jugantor

Abstract

This internship report describes my experiences and learning during a twelve-week internship at The Daily Jugantor, a daily Bangladeshi newspaper published in Bengali. The report gives an overview of my work in the Sports section of Jugantor’s Multimedia department. It also explains how the department is organized and introduces the people who helped me throughout my journey. I will share what work I did and the stories behind those tasks. In addition, this report includes a week-by-week summary of my activities. It shows how my practical work was connected to the theories I learned in my academic studies. I also describe the tools and equipment I used during the internship. Most importantly, the report highlights the skills I developed through this experience. This internship gave me a chance to face real workplace challenges and gain hands-on experience that will help me in my future career. Overall, this report provides a complete picture of my internship experience, including information about the organization, the skills I gained and a summary of my weekly work.
