Abstract

I have already completed my three-month internship at a reputed newspaper in Bangladesh - "The Daily Samakal". I spent my three-month internship as a sub-editor on the online news desk at Samakal newspaper. In this summary, I share my experience from these three months of practical work, the problems I faced while working, and the techniques I used to handle them. Over the course of these 13 weeks, I have acquired extensive knowledge and practical skills. I have learned efficient ways to edit news articles using numerous shortcuts and techniques, as well as how to gather all the necessary sources and incorporate the relevant information into the newspaper in an effective manner. Additionally, I have provided a clear presentation of the newspaper's structure in this report. I have also detailed the tools utilized under the guidance of my industrial supervisor, highlighted the application of modern technology, and described the valuable insights I gained through their use.
