Abstract:
There are very few professions as prestigious as the teaching profession. The role of a teacher in building a modern, educated and civilized society is immense. Only a teacher can transform society into a mature civilized environment by imparting the right knowledge. Since my childhood, I felt a genuine attraction towards the teaching profession. I wanted to see myself as a teacher from the beginning of my student life. I have always tried to learn from my teachers how to be an ideal teacher. I have tried to learn from them the qualities of teaching. Although they are only theoretical, but I have gained teaching experience during the past three months of internship. As a teacher I found myself far from the students. I have tried to follow the path shown by my teachers and use the knowledge I have gained from them. In that way, as a teacher, I have tried to impart complete knowledge to the young students. The most important thing for me was how students are accustomed to studying, how they can easily understand when studying, and what their basic needs are. Although I had already conceived the teaching profession in my heart, my entire concept changed during my internship in this profession. I have learned to understand anew the greatness and significance of teaching.To enter an important profession like teaching, one needs to acquire several qualities and have strong self- control and determination. Because only a fully determined and self-controlled teacher can educate the society properly.
