My Experience as an English Teacher at the Government Primary School in Bangladesh

Abstract

In the final semester, we need to complete this course ‘Project Paper with Internship' to get practical experience in professional life. When I was a student, I was very passionate about teaching, so I did my internship at 108 No. Changaon Government Primary School. In our country, students build their knowledge based on English learning in primary school. In the first few days, I observed some classes to learn how teachers handle young learners, and how they conduct classes in an actual learning environment. Then I took some classes following their lesson plan and gave students feedback on how to improve their learning. This experience is not only about teaching but also about understanding students' emotions and attention during class. This teaching experience gave me confidence and motivation to choose teaching as my future career.
