Abstract

This internship report presents an overview of the general banking activities at Savar Branch, Jamuna Bank PLC. The study focuses on practical operations, including customer service, account management, cheque processing, and other routine banking tasks. Data for this report was gathered through direct observation, interactions with branch staff, and secondary sourcessuch as official reports and academic references. The report also examines the bank’s organizational structure, products and services, vision, mission, and core values. Key findings indicate that the branch maintains effective service delivery, emphasizes customer-oriented practices, and adheres to regulatory guidelines. The report also identifies certain limitations, including the focus on a single branch and constraints related to confidentiality. Overall, the internship provided valuable insights into the practical functioning of a commercial bank, enhanced understanding of general banking operations, and contributed to the development of both professional skills and practical knowledge.
