A Report on “Teaching English in an English Medium School: Practical experience and Reflection”

Abstract

This report is based on what I personally observed and experienced while working as an English teacher at Mascot English Medium school. I saw different types of classes taught by various teachers. Throughout my internship, I gained new experiences, knowledges and skills. I also faced some challenges but I managed to overcome them. I observed the classroom environment, the teaching methods used by the teachers, how they managed their classes and how they interacted with the students. During my observations, I experienced both positive and negative moments. After watching the classes, I prepared myself for teaching and some teachers supported me there. Later I taught the class myself. Overall, it was a wonderful and exciting experience for me to cherish forever.
