Abstract:
This report is about my internship at New Age, an English daily newspaper in Dhaka that is well-known for its independent and critical journalism. During the time of my internship, I learned a lot of new things like translating, writing news reports, writing feature reports and editing. While I was working with professional reporters, I got to know better how the newsroom worked in the reality with authenticity and neutrality. The journey of my internship helped me to improved my view of thinking about matters and communication skills in different situations. Moreover, the journey improved my capacity to analyze information and also my critical thinking about feature stories. The report highlights my whole experience, like what I did during the internship, what my role and contribution was to work, and some interesting things that happened while I was working at New Age.
