dc.description Internship Report en_US
dc.description.abstract This project report presents the internship and the field study taken at Begunbary High School, Birulia, Dhaka, between September to November of 2025. The main aim of the study was to investigate and analyze the problems faced by the teachers of secondary level for teaching English language in Bangladesh. The investigation showed a number of important impediments hampering the effective teaching of English, such as large class sizes, lack of teaching aids, the use of outdated methodologies in teaching, the lack of opportunities for teacher professional development and the overall paucity in the level of English proficiency of the students themselves. The results show that, despite earnest efforts on the part of teachers, extrinsic factors such as poor infrastructure and a preponderance of test-based assessment continue to affect class-room practices. en_US
