A Journey to IELTS Success

Abstract

This report describes in detail the preparation process for the IELTS or International English Language Testing System with a primary focus on the student's learning journey, strategies used, results achieved and wider implications for personal and professional development. The internship has focused on developing the student's English language proficiency and equipping him with skills for academic achievement and future career prospects in a more globalized world. The internship was structured in a methodical approach that started with establishing a goal and initial planning then proceeded to selecting study materials, practicing with mock tests and assessments via self-assessment and instructor feedback. These steps build not only the student's linguistic skills but also helped establish many foundational skills such as time management, critical reflection and communication.
