General banking activities of Sonali Bank PLC

Abstract

This report aims to explain the general banking activities and practices of Sonali Bank PLC. The bank has gained people’s trust by offering easy banking services and customer- friendly programs. Because of this, it now holds a strong position in the banking sector and is known as one of the top banks in the country. The first part of the report gives an introduction and background of Sonali Bank Limited, including its history, branch network, vision, and mission. The next part describes the project, focusing on the general banking activities I observed and learned during my internship. After that, there is a section about sustainability banking, which talks about integrated reporting and sustainable banking practices. The report then discusses my internship experiences and the lessons I learned from them. In the findings section, I have pointed out the main strengths and weaknesses of the branch where I worked. Based on these findings, I have given some recommendations. I suggest that the bank should improve its infrastructure, update its facilities, and strengthen its human resource management to reach better results. Finally, the report emphasizes that Sonali Bank should continue improving its services and programs to better serve the general public in the future.
