A Comprehensive Internship Report on The Evolution of an English Teaching Career at Nasrsingdi BIAM Zila School and College

Abstract

Teachers are called the backbone of a nation. I personally think that teaching is a very noble profession. My thinking of this profession was completely different but when I started my journey as a real teacher my whole perception changed and I realized how meaningful is this profession to make a nation educated. From the very beginning, my intention was to complete my internship as soon as possible. But when the internship practice begin I immediately decided to pursue my career towards teaching profession. Throughout my internship journey, I instruct and observe the classes of Grade 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 at Narsingdi BIAM Zila School and College. I applied the teaching methods that I acquired throughout my student life from my school, college, and university teachers. Throughout my internship journey, I observed the classes first how they are conducting classes, what are the teaching methods they are applying and how to handle the students. This internship gives me an opportunity to learn the teaching methods and to give positive learning experience to the students. This opportunity does not give me an official certificate only but also helped me to learn how to be a good teacher that would help me in my future. The overall experience helps me to realize that teachers are the core part for the development of a nation. I also realized that I want to be a teacher in my future life so that I can help the students to grow their generosity, responsibility towards the nation.
