Abstract:
The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in Bangladeshi Schools." In Bangladesh, many students tend to underestimate the importance of English, which contributes to their poor proficiency in the language. To examine this issue closely, I visited a school as recommended by my project supervisor to evaluate the current state of English education. I began by observing English classes taught by three instructors: Azizur Rahman, Raju Ahmed and Md Akram Hussain. This observation allowed me to analyze their teaching approaches and assess student participation. I also assessed learners’ performance to better understand the practical challenges they face. Tosupplement my project work, I conducted a series of classes, each based on a different topic, for which I developed lesson plans outlining the content and timing of delivery. Offering valuable insights that will significantly contribute to my professional growth as an educator.
