Internship Report on ‘Internship Experience as an English Teacher at Sunshine School and College’

Abstract

This report describes my internship at Sunshine School and College in Savar, Dhaka, which I completed as part of the Bachelor of Arts in English program at my university. The main purpose of this internship was to gain real classroom experience in teaching English at the secondary level and to see how the theories I studied in university could be used in practice. The internship took place over three months, from May to July 2025. The report begins with an overview of the internship program, explaining its goals and why I chose teaching as my internship field. It also highlights the methods I followed, such as observing senior teachers, planning and delivering lessons, assessing students’ work, and being involved in school activities beyond the classroom.
