My Experience as an English Language Teacher at Shaheen School & College

Abstract

A teacher has a significant impact on society. Only a teacher can help students to achieve their full potential by instilling in them a love of learning through their talents and values. And when first started working as a teacher, I realized it even more. This report is based on my internship experience as an English language teacher at the Shaheen School & College in Savar, Dhaka. The primary goal of my internship was to teach for two to three months and gain experience. Throughout my internship, I supervised and observed the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades at Shaheen School & College. I gathered information about the teachers, including their lesson plans and teaching practices. I have done my best to provide the best for the students. I not only received a credential from school, but I also learnt how to be an effective teacher, manage students, assess students, and perform a variety of other tasks that will benefit me in the future. Throughout my internship, I came to understand that teaching is more than just a job because educators are the foundation of the country.
